Robert Peter "Robbie" Williams (born February 13, 1974) is a BRIT Award-winning English singer-songwriter, musician, record producer and multi-instrumentalist. His career began in 1990 at the age of 16 years as a dancer and singer with pop band Take That. He left the group in 1995 to launch his solo career. He had a very successful solo career, and his latest album Reality Killed the Video Star was released November 9, 2009, including his single "Bodies".
Williams was born and raised in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, with a sister, Sally, by his mother, Janet. His father, Peter "Parp" Conway and mother separated when Williams was three days old. He attended primary school in Mill Hill and St Margaret Ward Roman Catholic schools, he also go to dance school in Tunstall UKDDF as a child. Tunstall, Staffordshire.
Williams had struggled against mental illness, obesity, problems of self-esteem, alcoholism and drug addiction throughout his life. He has already discussed how his friend Elton John to give it, in a clinic to deal with his drug use that emerged from the Depression, he knew all of Take That. He entered a rehabilitation center in Tucson for his addiction to prescription pills of Xanax, Vicodin and Seroxat in February 2007.

It also believes it is currently the best selling non-Latin artists in Latin America, having sold more than 3 million albums.
On October 23, 2009, he announced that he will receive the Outstanding Contribution to British Music Award at the ceremony BRIT 2010.
