I would put Turco in goal and play instead of Kunitz Vanek. Also, you should check every day and play the players who play that day you get the most points for your team.

You do not mention if this is Rote or H H.
You can also make changes from day to day in most leagues and is especially a good idea since the guards go. If you had Luongo and Brodeur last year, you have not yet used up your starting goalie. Players can earn points on the bench.

BTW Nice programming. You could probably get better defenders, either by negotiation or Vanek Drury, because they do not do any good way on the bench.
