Tim HoltFive Hollywood Classics Western Not To Be Missed

West Hollywood Classics have always been favorites of mine. While the West is not as popular today than in the past (although there was some renewed interest), all the fans of young filmmakers who fails the western genre from their field interest film will really missed some great films. The West is much more than the opera "horse" as some describe. So you all Western private young movie fans, here are some classic Hollywood westerns of the 1920s-1950s that you owe it to yourself to see.

Wind was published in 1928 and was a silent film. Directed by Victor Sjaśstraśm, it is based on the novel by Dorothy Scarborough "The Wind" and was shot entirely in the Mohave Desert. This is the story of Letty, played by screen legend silence Lillian Gish. The role of Letty has been one of the most beautiful parts of his distinguished career. Letty was born in Virginia and moved to Texas to live with his cousin and his family. The sandstorms and punish the West Texas seem to punctuate his unwelcome reception. What follows is a tragic marriage, the threat of rape, murder, and madness.

Released in 1939, director John Ford's Stagecoach has become not only a classic western, but proved to take a leading role for a young actor named John Wayne. "Stagecoach, filmed on site in Monument Valley, Arizona, the documents perilous journey of a group of aliens on a stagecoach through dangerous territory Apache. A classic western with a combination of strong features, drama, action and humor, Stagecoach is considered one of the most influential films of all time.

In 1948, the film adaptation of the novel by B. Traven "Treasure of the Sierra Madre" has debuted. Directed by John Huston, this has often been called Western "film-making at its best." It tells the story of two down U.S. and Bogart (Humphrey and Tim Holt) in 1920s Mexico, which join with an old gold prospector (Walter Huston), a scavenger hunt unfortunate for Sierra Madre. Their friendship turns out to be short-lived as the thirst for gold corrupts the mind of the character of Bogart Dobbs eventually turn every man against another. A great representation of greed and irony.

1952 High Noon is considered by many as the greatest classic western ever filmed. This is not your typical Western. With little in the way of violence, High Noon is both exciting and fascinating. The film depicts the emotional and moral introspection, centering around a Mans courage in the face of extreme danger.

Telling the story of newlyweds and retired city Marshall Will Kane (Gary Cooper), the story revolves around death threats by outlaw Frank Miller after being arrested and sent to prison by Marshall Kane. With a gang Miller have shown in the city and Miller are right on the noon train, Kane must now decide whether to stay and fight or leave the city with his new wife (Grace Kelly) before Miller arrived the fateful confrontation. A true classic adult western with a great theme song (Do not forsake me, Oh My Darlin '), sung by Tex Ritter.

John Ford made a number of great Westerns, but none more worthy of recognition that his 1956 film The Searchers. Based on the novel by Alan Le May "The Seachers", which itself was based on an incident real life, this film popularity has increased over time at the point where it is considered one of the best Westerns ever made. This is the story of an aging and bitter civil war veteran Ethan Edwards (John Wayne). A Comanche raid has killed his brother and his sister, his nephew, and kidnapped his two nieces Lucy and Debbie. It is this tragic act which serves as the beginning of a search that lasted five years. Before long, Ethan f.
