Tara Moss

Tara MossSiren by Tara Moss, a book reviewer - a sassy, sexy thriller

A sassy, sexy thriller. Tara Moss is much awaited fifth novel in his series thriller Vanderwall, Siren of expectations and, as always leaves fans gasping for more.

Although I do not know the author personally, his public persona seems very similar to that of his female character strong will and self-confident - psychologist ex-model, forensics and demand private eye Makedde Vanderwall. Without spoiling the first four novels of this popular series, just say Moss protagonist Mak has been through a lot in his twenty-nine years. She has lost a parent, lost friends to crime and narrowly escaped death herself more than once. His fiery, kick-ass attitude and his penchant for standing up for what she believes is the right of it a target for the worst of the criminal society. Its format and style like opening doors for her, but his intelligence and mental strength that his fate in life is in danger, she gets into.

Siren involves Mak search for a teenager missing, seeking revenge on the rich and corrupt interests, a hitman and competing male love. The mystery and intrigue that zeros increases on a Mac with French burlesque circus, contortion and magic acts and a siren aging stage. His descriptions of both Australian and French settings are authentic and thorough research that went into writing this novel itself.

Moss is a master storyteller and this novel is that fast is certainly an understatement. Moss builds the tension page by page and does not mince words when describing the violence and its consequences. Moss was able to keep readers guessing with his track follower and her willingness to go where many dare not transport both romantic and sordid human interactions with aplomb. The result is a chic and sexy walk sawtooth that readers will not want to go ashore. An edge of your seat thriller - A must read.

The Author: Tara Moss was born in British Columbia in 1973. Married to an Australian poet, she now resides in Sydney and holds dual Canadian-Australian citizenship.
