Steve Martin

There was a movie with Steve Martin in what I saw as a kid and I remember him going a highway sign for advice or messages or something like that. Can anyone help?

It was certainly LA Story: -

Steve Martin is Telemach Harris, a meteorologist with the wacky TV, thinks that her life is perfect, except for an erratic relationship with a style-conscious girlfriend (Marilu Henner). Then one bright day and LA smog, a change in the electronic sign road of life, when his advice led him into a frivolous romance with a young and beautiful blond (Sarah Jessica Parker) and, eventually, true love with woman of his dreams (Victoria Tennant). To a backdrop of Los Angeles is the most hilarious romantic story you'll ever LA experience.
