How an American citizen visiting his friend Iran? I am a citizen of the United States (one caregiver) do
outside the continent and strongly interested in visiting
an Iranian friend living environment near Shiraz. She and I talked online for the past four years. We are both single, and I fear that this could be one more obstacle in the number, I'll meet with obtaining a visa. As I
understand visas only connected to very strict
tourist packages are available to natives of the United States with
single citizenship.
What I need to find a visa to enable security
visit the young woman and, if possible, stay with it
and his family. She and a male member of his family is certainly a letter of invitation, and I could get invitations from other Iranian friends if necessary to support my welcomeness. "
Could you suggest something? Loopholes? People who
done something similar with success? An individual
useful branch of the Iranian embassy?
Thank you so much!
Stephen
I disagree with the statement above. Lots of nice things and can go out during Iran.
Unfortunately, some people in this part of the world are so narrow / closed minded and they do not consider the facts by giving a statement or worse, they just believe what they hear! really sad!
Sorry about that. He's always frustrating to see an unjust and false statement or behavior.
I am Persian / Canada and want to talk about my experience traveling to Iran. It can help you.
As you probably know, the weather has changed, and if Iran is to be sure that no harm will come to you taking a trip to Iran.
You will have fun and you get to see how different Iran is the difference in perceptions of people. LIKE, there is no sheep or cows walking in the street or nonsense like that!
Tehran, Shiraz and other cities are modern and beautiful. The heavy traffic on some parts of Tehran and it is contaminated.
I went to Iran three years ago. Had not been there since 1983, the year I escaped. I'm sure you know the story at the time. I was very afraid to go back specifically to be a Canadian citizen and escaped to Iran.
Although many of my friends took the trip to Iran with their Canadian women, returned happier than ever with lots of good news. But I've always been interested!
I went to the Iranian embassy (they treated me really nice BTW), but I have my new ID and passport and wallah!
Stayed in Tehran for three months, had tones of fun, bought a house there and back. No problem whatsoever.
Make sure you check with the embassy and all of their needs. It should not be any problems and they will take care of you.
I promise you, you'll have a good time and memorable.
Take lots of pictures!
I hope this helped you. Enjoy.
Iran procedure tourist visa application - the holders of U.S. passports
# # At present the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs does not hold a U.S. passport to travel to Iran independently. # #
Americans are required to travel on escorted tours, either as part of a group of tourists, or a tailor made individual visits. An exact itinerary, which you must comply, is mandatory.
To obtain a visa and to meet the Iranian Foreign Ministry (FM), we must make all your travel arrangements including accommodation, internal flights, and / or a private car and driver / guide throughout the journey.
The maximum duration of a visa is 30 days. However, in the discretion of FM. Sometimes they can not grant visas to 12 days, even if we ask for four weeks.
To make the visa application, you need to answer questions of visas and return them.
It takes about two weeks to live.
