Roger Howarth

My mother says she heard he was only 18 months, but I know it is much more than that. The new Todd is great, but I still say Roger Howarth was for a very long time. Does anyone know how long? Thus it was not their another actor to play Todd Manning between Roger and the actor who plays the role now? Thank you in advance.
