Happy, happy, happy Fourth of July with other memorable scenes of the film in the kitchen!

Many movies have a great scene that takes place in the kitchen, and one that comes to mind is Wall Street Bud Fox (Charlie Sheen) and Darien Taylor (Daryl Hannah) are in the kitchen, in a kind of montage a sequence where they are preparing that dinner in their amazing search brand new apartment just after moving in together! It's really an important part of the film, and highlights how their new wealth and love can be appreciated in something simple, like preparing and enjoying a romantic dinner together!

Shop Girl: Two big scenes come to mind ... you Ray Porter (Steve Martin) and Buttersfield Mirabelle (Claire Danes) breakfast in his kitchen and he is a cute scene, and there's another scene where the camera alternates between Ray Porter standing in her kitchen eating Asian food with chopsticks, drinking wine, and Jeremy (Jason Schwartzman) standing in her kitchen eating fast food with chopsticks and drink a fountain of a paper cup. There is a contrast between the hysterical characters, comparing their age, their economy, their style of dress, and lifestyle, but ... they are both happy to eat, so maybe the film at this point is to show how people are all the same thing?
