Regis Philbin

Regis PhilbinSelling through networks of entrepreneurs and social

Regis Philbin told a story of his ongoing relationship over several years with a cop in New York City, Thomas Caruso. Although his round, Caruso would often accompany Philbin as he walked to a gym several blocks kilometers, sharing warm conversation. Philbin, of course, he tells countless stories of Our Lady of experiences and Curoso, enjoying it, getting carried away by the experience. Philbin, shocked to discover that Caruso had never been on the campus of Indiana, has organized a trip for two of them which they enjoy thoroughly. In fact, so they did again and remain friends to this day!

Philbin described seeing his friend from time to time and yesterday enjoyed lunch together. Regis was again shocked to discover that Caruso, now retired from the force, was president of his own security company. What is a security company it is! Regis was totally surprised to discover how success COP / contractor had become. Kelly was quick to point out that it was probably belonging to Our Lady who has made the difference with his success!

Caruso has transferred his experience of the police and relationships with other like-minded traffic officers in a growing, profitable business concept. It is always gratifying to hear of business success, especially among the heroes of the most beautiful New York! Caruso sells the security and peace of mind to celebrities who want protection.

Regis and Kelly have an open discussion of the history of the relationship with Tom Caruso Regis for several minutes and concluded with Regis giving a plug for the great corporation Caruso on the air. This story is hot and free publicity probably produced a number of new prospects for security Noble. Such is the power of social ties and business networking, and personal relationships. Admittedly, this unique relationship was the opportunity to receive national exposure, but the same result can be known by most of us in our efforts to networking, although it can rake a little longer if we lack in this regard in prime time.

The remarkable principle of six degrees of separation states that we are all connected in some way within six iterations. Since this is true, our relations will eventually provide the most exposure we want. This is not so much who you know directly, but rather who you know who knows who you need to know! Again, as in so many efforts are worth pursuing, the key is persistence. Take action. Get your message convincing as many people as possible on an ongoing basis, and as they share with others, your goals will be achieved. Harvey Mackay, Mark Victor Hansen built their empires on the backs of their Rolodex. They realized that the resources and people they need to achieve their objectives were nearby.

The lesson here is to ensure that everyone you know is aware of what you do and what your expertise. Another step, to inform your friends about your goals for asking his contacts to help you. The resources you need are there, you simply connect the dots.
