Where did Matthew Bellamy of Muse learn to play the guitar, or the books he has used it was self-taught?

Pretty sure it was self-taught ... it is growing incredibly. I tried learning some of its commands, but uses all agreements and reduced, but somehow, it makes a good sound .... weird. I can not even my fingers in the right position (I swear it is disturbed or his tenticles as a squid), let alone make a good sound

I do not know but it is fecking awesome, is not it.
