Marketplace | Mariah Carey Mariah Carey Mariah Carey Pop Music CD Review Mariah Carey is the latest version of Pop Star Mariah Carey, and is another great musician's talent.
Mariah Carey launches with a great track, Vision Of Love, which I suspect will be heard on the radio everywhere, and rightly so. It's really a very nice track.
Mariah Carey is a pleasantly varied, mix of 11 tracks that are very well written songs by this clearly superb artist. Most of the songs display a lot of emotion that does everything for a really great listen. Seemingly drawing from what I can only imagine are her own personal experiences. At different points touching the most real emotions like love and pain of relationships certainly can not be heard.
If you are even slightly pop you will enjoy this CD. Overall Mariah Carey is a great version. I give my thumbs double. You will not be disappointed with a single track.
While the entire CD is really very good some of my favorites are track 2 - It has to be Way, channel 9 - a gift from heaven, and Runway 11 - Love Takes Time
My Bonus Pick, and the one that got Sore [... as in "Stuck On Repeat"] is track 1 - Vision Of Love. What a beautiful track!
