Faconnable
Faasonnable is a high-end French retailer specializing in custom men and women's clothing. The company started humbly as a small tailor shop personalized Jean Goldberg opened in 1950 on Rue Paradis in Nice, France. In 1958, the small shop was making custom tuxedos customized for Hollywood stars were on the Cote d'Azur for the Cannes Film Festival. In 1961 his son John Goldberg, Albert took over the store and renamed it Faconnable, a variant of the word "shape", which means "to create." Under his leadership the company expanded in 1973 and opened its first boutiques in Monte Carlo, Cannes, St. Tropez, Lyon and Marseille, but it was not until 1984 that Faconnable opened an establishment in Paris.
