Laurence HallierCreative Marketing Ideas

The following ideas are creative marketing specifically looking for new places and ways to advertise. It has always been an area ripe for new ideas. What prompted me to write this page is an article I recently read about a company called Media Show.

View media display advertising on top of 3,000 taxis in New York. They charge the customer (which include Levis, Nike and other large companies) $ 200 per month for each ad, and they pay $ 100 for the taxi business. This leaves enough room for health benefits. Founder Laurence Hallier said a typical campaign, costing $ 40,000 per month for an exhibition on 200 taxis, is considered by 25% of residents of the city - every day.

It makes me think that other creative marketing ideas and opportunities are there in the field of advertising. What follows is a short list that I have with this writing. Some of them may already exist.

Street signs - In these difficult times, many cities are looking for additional revenue. Could placing advertising on street signs, provide? In addition to providing monthly income, the company that organizes what might have to make new signs for the city, save that cost.

Personal ads - I know this is already happening in some areas. What is needed is a simple system. Having a place where a driver can pull have a sign attached to his car, and get a check to keep it there for six months.

Kite Classifieds - In areas with steady breezes, it might be possible to have kites most of the day with big ads on them. The beaches are a natural place, but it can work in other places.

Sidewalk Audio Advertising - As people spend some places an ad plays automatically. Advertisers may be charged by the number of times an ad plays (getting a good deal more when a pedestrian is to be there to hear it). Another angle here is to sell the units to specific companies. A restaurant could have a recording that is triggered by every passerby, saying something like, "Hello, come right now and get a free drink with your sandwich."

Yard Sign Advertising - I am not sure of the legality of this in most places, but many sites have signs supporting political candidates or advertise a company just replaced the windows or the landscaping, so why not have paid advertising? Residents receive a monthly check for each sign, and advertisers are paying twice, leaving a profit for the company that does this.

Mural Advertising - It might be an opportunity for a budding artist. He could not find a building that is ugly and ask the owner how much he wants to have a mural of Nice publicity about it. Then he could find advertisers who will pay enough to leave with a decent profit. The owner of the building might have to get final approval on the planned wall and agree to leave it there for a few years.

Odor advertising - have the smell of fresh cooked food on sidewalks pumped occupied next to a sign or an ad promoting audio a restaurant.

Advertising with plants - shrubs could be cut in the shape of the logo of the company. Flower beds can be planted with logos or even in the form of words for publicity. airports close to fields of wheat could cut into their ads be seen by passengers above plan.

Games Marketing - A business can advertise by word of mouth to mouth by making a contest or game Participants sign up online and get a number they give their recommendation. The person who referred the most clients after one year wins a prize.

DVD Announcements - There are already advertising for films from other films on DVD, but what about the box the DVD comes in. I do not speak to that film is sold in. Many rental stores have their own empty boxes they send all their films in. Could they sell advertising? C. It
