Frankfurt has not established a reputation as a destination for short break. This is because most people recognize the city as a European financial center, which tends to slow the interest of visitors. However there is much merit here for a short break.

Culture vultures can take more than 60 of the finest collections of Germany to Museumufer (Museum of the Bank). Museums cover topics such as architecture (Deutsche Architecturmuseum) and the German film (Deutsche Filmmuseum). The oldest museum here is the Museum der Weltkulturen (World Cultures), which includes a collection of contemporary pieces from around the world.

German may want to try growing the city theater. The Alte Oper (old opera house) was destroyed during the war, but has long since been renovated in the style of classical origin. It is a beautiful place and is among the best known in Europe to stage classical music. Prices are reasonable and probably associated with the cost of flightsto cheap Frankfurt .

nightlife in Frankfurt is not only reflect the rich bankers. There are many interesting sites independent. Batschkapp near Maybachbra�cke is a indie club with a background politically charged. Noted former guru of the green Joschka Fischer used to hang out here (he was friends with the owner at the time). The downtown is full of the standard base of clubs and bars in the city a viable (if somewhat upscale) cheap flights destination. Beer and food are excellent and the value is good by UK standards. Really, outside of cheap flights , the only other significant expenditure would be hosting.
