Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Clash 2010 is the third edition of Pinoy Big Brother Teen. It began airing on the night of April 10, 2010 (PHT). This is the first Teen Edition, which will be held after a regular season instead of a celebrity edition because of the third season ended several weeks before mid-March, the traditional time for the start of the summer season in Philippines when editions of adolescence are held. Toni Gonzaga, Bianca Gonzales and Mariel Rodriguez reprise their roles as facilitators of the program.

There were two sets of hearings for this edition. The first took place simultaneously with those of the third regular season from March to May 2009. Given that these hearings were held a year in advance, the age limit was lowered to 14-17 because they would be in the age limit of 15-18 correct when editing begins. A second round of hearings took place in March 2010, this time with a record peak through SMS, the age limit for auditions was 15-18. A total of about 50,000 auditioned, 16 were selected to participate in the new edition.

There are several reasons for using the word in the title clash. Primarily, the use of the concept of home to two recently in Pinoy Big Brother: Double Up (third season) is again used.

There are sixteen housemates. Fifteen entered the house on Day 1. The first seven roommates who lived a simple life, were placed in the villa (A) while eight other roommates, with wealthy backgrounds or interests, live in the apartment (Room B). The age of tenants indicate their age at the entrance of the house.

A young woman who was supposed to come in the 16th house that the roommate was not allowed to participate for medical reasons. If it is not cleared by the doctors and staff through Day 2, an alternate male take his place. Anyway, the roommate would enter on 16th Day 2.
