Emmitt Smith? Could he come back for 3 years and get 20,000??? ps-please come back Emmitt LOL
I think Emmitt retired for good. I would like to see him play again, but I do not see that happening.
Probually
1.he would never sign a ridiculous contract
2.he is a Hall of Fame RB with multiple rings
3.he has nothing to prove
the answer is NO!
No, but Carter could Kijanna, lol.
NO. It was a return to good Cowboys ... But you saw what he did in his last seasons with the Cardinals, he lacked explosiveness and has suffered a succession of injuries. Like a poster above Sayed has nothing to prove and must be satisfied w / his accomplishments. Also somethign point is that if he did return he would be buried on the depth maps on the whole team (except the Raiders) and would never see the field.
Yeah right, he can not play without the offensive line, he used to play behind. Without these guys it was just average.
Not likely. He had a great career, but retired at the right time. It was not very productive at the end and has no reason to come back and put a stain on the many years he made a big one with a high level in the NFL.
As much as I'd like to see him back, I doubt he could. anyone who says that Emmitt Smith would have been average, but his O-line is crazy. It was a very explosive back who hit the hole with the power and ran through the tackles of his career. In 1990, when he was drafted until his last game in 2004, he ran for 1000 + yards for 11 seasons (1991-2001). These seasons included a couple of years that Dallas was old and no longer dominates. In his seasons with the Cardinals, he has missed 1,000 yards in 2004 from 63 yards and scored nine TD. A respectable year for a ball on the hill that was what .. 35? He has more than 20,000 meters all purposes. I think it has nothing to prove. Heck, it even won dancing with the stars LOL!
