Dinesh D'Souza

Dinesh D'SouzaIs anyone seriously agree with Dinesh D'Souza on atheism as a source of atrocities?

Satan is responsible for all conflicts, death and misery in the world.
As the Bible promises, as Christ himself abyss and a new earth perfect and people will start.

Kent Hovind probably did.

I'm not really familiar with the comment in question. However, I am a Christian, and would certainly not agree that atheism is a source of atrocities. Many atrocities were committed by Christians, Muslims and other religious people, to suggest that atheists are not responsible for them would be wrong. In addition, the majority of atheists I know are logical, peaceful and ethical people.

D'Souza is an idiot, no, no. I do not agree with him.

Do I believe people have committed atheists?

Yes.

Do I believe that atheism motivated or inspired?

No.

Lack of belief does not cause atrocities.

Nobody with a brain and some working knowledge of real history.

This excludes fundy creationists and / idiots.

No man is made by the island he is.

I feel majorities. The majority race, gender and religion have proven throughout history to oppress, suppress and kill minorities. This includes Christians, Muslims, men and whites.

It's not even funny, most are fun Fundie.

I do not agree with D'Souza, and here is why;

- D'Souza argues that "if God is not, everything is permitted"
- D'Souza asserts that Hitler, Stalin and Mao killed in the name of atheism in concluding that "whatever the motives of bloodlust atheist ... all religions .. have in 2000 years [have not] been killed as many people have been killed in the name of atheism ... "

In my opinion, if it falls into D'Souza is an idiot.

"... Killed in the name of atheism ..."
Hitler was not an atheist (if you want proof, ask my essay on atheism and morality). Moreover, Stalin did not kill for atheism, he killed the name of dogma in the name of power, on behalf of paranoia, but never in the name of atheism. There is no evidence to support it has killed in the name of atheism, but there is evidence that he killed in the name of dogmatism, power, and paranoia.

In addition, there is no evidence supporting that Hitler was an atheist. NONE. There are, however, evidence that shows that he killed in the name of Christ. But then, we can deduce that, in the end it may have been a deist. But never, never an atheist.

D'Souza I hate with passion. Seriously, this guy preaches hatred.

* Sigh *

EDIT:
Lori - No, I'm sorry, but you're wrong. It was D'Souza, not atheists (BTW, Thanks for generalizations) which stated that "if God is not, everything is permitted (in fact I have the source for you if you want to read / look at [this is a youtube video, however, D'Souza said he])

In addition, you said "I think Hitler was an atheist." Well, that's fine, but if you can provide evidence that it was (believe me, there is not I search high and low) that I am afraid that your "belief" is inconsequential.

As I said earlier, Hitler appealed to Jews to be killed in the name of Christ. Hitler said he believed in God. Not once, nowhere does it claim Hitler was an atheist (in fact, Hitler called for atheism as "eradicated" in a speech).

While Hitler did show contempt for Christianity, the only thing you can deduce is that he was a deist. There is absolutely no evidence supporting that Hitler was an atheist. NO!

Yes I do.
