Carrie FisherIce Fishing - 5 ideas to become an expert ice fisherman

Planning is what can mean the difference between a fishing trip thoroughly enjoyable and successful and disappointing that it is a failure. We filed a checklist so you can judge for yourself exactly how you're ready to go ice fishing.
Buy early

Do make it a point to get a list of supplies to the paper. This should include everything you might need - probably everything that you used in the last season, and anything you missed then. Get those lights Glo-buster and everything else you can refuel. The key idea here is that it is preferable to carry more than you use, both in terms of diversity and number.

A. The hole is so important on the floor of the ice
To put it in a word, make a clean hole in the ice. If the circumference of the hole here and there is chipped or missing pieces of ice, imagine how it would be difficult for the fishing line to move freely in the water below. It remains contained within a region and ruin your chances to catch you at that price. Do not let a fence encroaches on your own hole.

B. Fish as much as you can with the big four.

Bait fishing is something you can not go fishing without, so stock up nicely on all kinds of worms that you may need. It's a good idea to keep your bait different from each other in separate containers, and even better to keep them alive as long as you can. Remember the more bait you have left can you fish, then do as much as you can.

C. Clean can go a long way Cleanliness
Take time to inspect your equipment before you get to go fishing. Check your rods and reels and make sure they are clean and in perfect working condition. Use Q-tips to help make the dirt from all corners of each groove on the stem of the ice. Remember to use the type of non-freezing oil to lubricate the rollers.

D. remain comfortable
You will not be able to fish in peace if you do not feel very comfortable. Take heating equipment with you when you go ice fishing. Heaters and propane tanks can go a long way to make your trip a success.

E. A little more on comfort
Ice can really hard on your skin, but there is no need to feel its quite hard when you're ice fishing. Use a tent of the ice to help keep you warm, and do not forget to lubricate the joints of the tent with the type of gel, not oil. Check the surface of your tent for damages, well before your trip to allow time to order a repair kit and do the job.
