Philippe Restaurant is a French restaurant in Bangkok, Thailand own and operated by Chef Philippe Peretti of Corsica. Philip has had an interest in French cooking from an early age and trained under some of the finest French chefs of various French restaurants in France for many years. After twenty years of travel around England, America, Australia, China, Japan, and most of Southeast Asia, Philip came to Thailand on holiday and fell in love with Bangkok and decided to do his home and opening his French restaurant in Bangkok. Philippe restaurant was opened in 1998 in Bangkok, a five minute walk from the BTS Phrom Phong station, 200 meters from Sukhumvit Road Soi Sukhumvit 39. Philippe The restaurant is considered one of the best French restaurant in Bangkok, the restaurant is highly recommended by local and overseas press and acknowledged by a variety of food critics and top magazines. Philip has spent the excellent French cooking and received recognition and awards from various sites and magazines. In 2005, Philip was invited by air Thai International to design their menus only in flight for the First and Business Class on its Bangkok-Europe and the road from Bangkok and Australia.
