How I hate PET burns 350 calories per day! One of my real bug bear is jiggling his leg .... for some reason, it is usually men who do, swinging their knee and distract your conversation. I always think they must need the Loo and slap their knees.
However, the next time you see someone doing this, take a look at them - they are thin?
Studies have shown that restless burns 350 calories per day, about half a bottle of wine and two vodkas. Or a weight loss of 36 pounds in a year and a healthy liver!
It has also been shown that naturally thin people, those we hate who apparently can eat everything and anything and stay slim whippet tend to move much more chubbies that.
Then wiggle your legs, wiggle your toes, gesticulate more when you speak, press your fingers, act like you have ants in your pants and ignoring instructions to stop waving your mother.
You can get the odd knock to the knee, but for £ 36 a year I? 'll Take that.
In the same vein, when you're standing, you burn 70 calories more per hour than when you sit? .. Then, when you can get up. Stand up when you're on the phone when you are outside, are at a high table or the bar rather than on the flop sofas (unless you have huge heels damage cases in which the feet may outweigh the calories!) When you have the TV, get up for a half-hour show, all these little things add up and you will soon notice the difference.

So you have returned to work 20 hours, had a hellish day and you're broke - but hungry - there is no way you'll start to cook something huge, but really try to keep your diet healthy meals and avoid processed microwave and garbage.
Each week, I'll give you a quick and easy recipe in healthy cooking I do on days like this. And you can get all the ingredients in any supermarket, if they are not already in your closet?? Because this n? Your Recipe faster if you go to six different stores to get the stuff.
On Wednesday, I made a 12-hour day and really wanted a glass of wine and flop on the sofa with a bar of the galaxy, but I was very good and makes noise rapidly FRY. Stir fries are the time honored quick meal and 10 minutes later you can feel smug and thin eat a home cooked, healthy meals.
There is no absolute recipe, just use a good selection of vegetables and protein from meat, fish, Quorn, tofu, etc.
Heat a wok (or skillet) and pour in a glug of olive oil (I have no time to weigh or measure, but about a tablespoon).
You can buy chicken, beef or pork, diced loans, or use Quorn or tofu chunks (try to keep the meat at least buy organic chicken and if you can avoid hormones and antibiotics nasty)
Chuck meat (or other) in the hot oil and stir for 3-4 minutes.
Add a teaspoon of chopped garlic, chilli and ginger (buy drinks in the supermarkets, all prepared, fast, no fingers and last garlicy ages). You may need less pepper to taste.
For vegetables there are a variety of options;
Onions, peppers, baby sweet corn, green beans, snow peas, broccoli, mushrooms, cauliflower, bean sprouts, really something that you like.
If you can not chop an onion, a pepper and some mushrooms while the meat is frying and throw in a pack of baby sweetcorn and / or green beans. If you can not be bothered with it, most supermarkets do a sack all ready to mix fry vegetables are great.
If you do not have time to shop, frozen vegetables are great, mushrooms, onions, peppers, broccoli, directly from frozen but they may need another minute or two to cook.
Stir for 3 or 4 minutes, slugs in a good dash of soy sauce and fry for a minute or two.
Voila, 10 minutes and your at the table!
