Everton Football Club has begun on St. Domingo Methodist Church Sunday School which was opened in May 1870. FC St. Domingo is quickly established a local reputation for themselves, but when they started to recruit football players from beyond the parish a name change was essential, hence the start of Everton FC November 1879.
