It was the first actress to play Laura Petrie on television on the pilot program, "head of family" which has been reorganized and became the Dick Van Dyke Show with the role taken by Mary Tyler Moore. The native of California has signed a contract with Paramount Pictures film in 1941. Most of his movie roles from there were small and forgettable. She also starred in the television of the 1950s, Mr. and Mrs. North, a spectacle of Thin Man-like mystery.
