Arnold Palmer

Thgought I was a well-known term for an ice tea lemonade, but since we sell it to my Dunkin Donuts, nobody knows when I speak when I call it an Arnold Palmer.

Arnold Palmer was a famous golfer and supposedly one of his favorite drink was a mixture of half iced tea and lemonade and a half. Some places refer to this drink as a half-half, others Ade tea (which is part of the secret In 'n' Out Burger menu) or Tea Lemonade.

It is actually a drink called packaged, "The Original Arnold Palmer Tee", which is approved by Arnold Palmer.

The term "Arnold Palmer" is well known in the southern part of the country where people drink a lot of iced tea. Wikipedia says it was created at Club Cherry Creek Colorado country and is popular in WV, OH and PA, but I do not know how true that is.

They know what it is in Wisconsin and Ohio. So maybe it started in the Midwest.

It is named for the golfer, because I'm sure you know.

I know what an Arnold Palmer-is .... I think that is something that an older crowd would know what you were talking less and the younger crowd. Arnold Palmer was a golfer and that is what he used to command the clubhouse of the golf course.

Why do you call it Arnold Palmer?

The term "Arnold Palmer" does not come from a region it comes from a man who is a golfer.

There was a specific brand of iced tea lemonade that has been called "Arnold Palmer". So, since it is only a brand that is not all tea lemonade ice referenceing so why do you want everyone to know what you mean.
