The couple, who met last April at a book festival and became engaged in September, exchanged vows at Lighthouse Chelsea Piers, near the Hudson River. And it was a very special occasion for Robach, who walked into the driveway of his 37th birthday. Shue's mother, Anne Harms, officiated at the ceremony, and both wrote their own vows.
Shue, 42 and Robach, 37, recently divorced - and the marriage consisted of three Shue son with his ex-wife Jennifer Hageney Robach and two daughters with her ex-husband, Tim McIntosh.

Regarding the reception, the representative said: "The decor is simple and there were lots of candles. The guest list has been quite low. They wanted an intimate setting with close friends and family. "
About 120 guests attended the ceremony, including the sister of actress Elisabeth Shue and husband Davis Guggenheim, director of the year 2006 An Inconvenient Truth, as well as colleagues Robach NBC Meredith Vieira, Ann Curry, Kathie Lee Gifford and CBS News' Rick Kaplan and MSNBC Contessa Brewer.
Apart from writing their own vows, the couple turned away from the tradition in other areas as well. "Instead of a gift, they asked their customers to give their two favorite songs - a dance, a love - and they were playing all night," said the representative. "And instead of wedding cake, they have a birthday cake."
Adds the rep: "Amy even walked across the street from work for Saks [Fifth Avenue] to buy her dress and shoes - off the rack!" As for his kicking, Robach chose Christian Louboutin.
