Andrea Foster

Born November 1st, 1949, David Foster is an award winning producer, composer and musical arranger, and has won 14 Grammy Awards - and was nominated for 42 - during his career. As a member of the band Skylark in the '70s, Foster has the opportunity to work closely with high-level celebrities and many musicians, including John Lennon, Josh Groban, Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston Michael Jackson, Andrea Bocelli, Madonna, Gordon Lightfoot, and much, much more!

Foster was also asked to compose the music for the film St. Elmo's fire, and successfully obtained several additional singles exit from the film's soundtrack. With his own label, Foster produced debut albums for many well known music artists who have since moved from lucrative music career, such as Josh Groban, The Corrs, and Michael Bubled. Its label is known as 143 Records.

Foster was married to Linda Thompson in 1991, and although they are no longer together, Foster and Thompson worked together on several songs, as the song "I Have Nothing" from The Bodyguard soundtrack in 1992. This song was nominated for a Grammy and an Academy Award and two in 1996, Foster's composition "The Power of the Dream" with Kenneth Edmonds became the official song of the Olympics that summer.

As an attempt to enter the television, Foster and his two step-son has started a reality show called Princes of Malibu, where Foster was playing himself, trying to convince his son to the formatting and make their own way in the world. The show failed, and was canceled shortly after its inception. More recently, Foster was introduced as a guest on the reality television show American Idol as a mentor for the competitors. There was also a judge at the show Nashville Star, and Celebrity Duets, a show created and produced for Fox TV.
